Why Navy curry is famous
The Maritime Self-Defense Force eats curry every Friday, a habit from after the war (it was a Saturday lunch until Saturdays became days off). The Imperial Navy served curry too, which is why Maizuru claims it, and each of the town's curry cafes cooks the recipe of one real ship or unit.
