* Usable = time in port minus 2 hours: half an hour to get ashore, all-aboard 30 minutes before departure, and back at the gangway an hour before that. "Be back by" is that gangway time. Schedules change; the port's own list is the reference.

Three things Eastern Venus passengers should know

Most calls start with immigration

Twelve of the 18 calls are the first Japanese port after Busan. Everyone aboard clears immigration in person, so the first hour goes to the queue; the ship × port pages mark which calls those are.

Two Nagasaki berths

Three of the four Nagasaki calls use Matsugae Cruise Terminal; the 23 November call is listed at Dejima Wharf. Check the ship × port page for your date before you plan the walk.

Photo note

Our photograph shows the ship as Pacific Venus, her earlier name — same hull, new operator.
