Jeju buses have been cashless since October 2024 and take tapped foreign Visa cards and T-money. Frequency of the 680 is not published; taxis wait at the terminal.

Ships of 100,000 GT and over normally use Gangjeong on the south coast; smaller ships use Jeju Port in Jeju City, with exceptions. On the 2026 allocation list, Diamond Princess and MSC Bellissima use Gangjeong; Celebrity Millennium, Silver Moon, Westerdam and Norwegian Jade use Jeju Port. Your daily programme is the final word.

Jeju Port is in Jeju City: Dongmun Market is 2.6 km, about 5–10 minutes by taxi or 7 minutes on the City Tour bus from the terminal. Gangjeong is about an hour from Jeju City but only 10 km — about 15 minutes — from Seogwipo town.

Yes. From Jeju Port it is 43 km, about an hour each way by taxi, so allow four hours; from Gangjeong it is 57 km, 70–85 minutes each way, so allow five. It is closed on the first Monday of each month; ₩5,000.

Not to the summit: that is about nine hours on foot, needs a reservation and closes to new climbers by 12:30. The short Eoseungsaengak trail from Eorimok (30 minutes up, no reservation) gives the mountain view in a port-day slot.

Less than you think. Jeju buses take no cash at all but accept tapped Visa cards and T-money; the City Tour bus is card-only too. Neither terminal had an ATM in 2025, so bring some won for market stalls.

Nationals of the 22 currently exempt countries do not need one through 31 December 2026, and under-18s and over-64s are always exempt. Cruise passengers land on a permit arranged by the ship; follow your line’s instructions on the e-Arrival Card.
