The city’s covered market, two and a half kilometres from the northern terminal: tangerines and hallabong, dried fish, and a food alley that turns into a night market after dark. Open every day.

The story

Why Dongmun Market is famous

Dongmun Market grew after the 1945 liberation as the island's first permanent market and is the largest in Jeju City. The food alley between gates 8 and 10 becomes a night market in the evening, and hallabong, the knobbled Jeju tangerine, is sold by the box to take home.
