On an overnight call, yes: a full Kyoto day. Of the 14 international calls in Oct–Dec 2026, 4 are overnights and most of the rest are 10–12 hour day calls. On those, the JR Special Rapid (about 50–60 min, ¥1,110, every 15 min) gives about 5 hours in Kyoto if you leave Kyoto by about 15:45. On an 8-hour call it is Fushimi Inari only.
