* Usable = time in port minus 2 hours: half an hour to get ashore, all-aboard 30 minutes before departure, and back at the gangway an hour before that. "Be back by" is that gangway time. Schedules change; the port's own list is the reference.

Ponant’s Le Soléal comes to Japan twice in 2027. In March: Toba (15th), an overnight at Hiroshima (19–20th) and two Nagasaki calls either side of Busan. In September and October: the Okinawa islands, Ishigaki, Miyakojima and Naha, with Shanghai and Keelung at either end of the October calls.

Three things Le Soléal passengers should know

Toba is an afternoon call

On Monday 15 March 2027 the ship arrives at 12:00 and leaves at 21:00. The Toba guide has the afternoon order: Ise first, since Naiku is open until 18:00 in March.

An evening and a morning in Hiroshima

Arriving at 21:00 on 19 March and sailing at 12:00 on the 20th, the overnight gives an evening and a morning in Hiroshima rather than one full day.

Two Naha berths

The September call uses Tomari Wharf No.8 (Naha Cruise Terminal), the berth nearest town; the 28 October call is listed at the 2nd Cruise Berth on Shinko Wharf No.12, 5.6 km from Kokusai-dori: ship shuttle or a taxi.
