Azamara Pursuit opens October 2026 with an overnight in Tokyo (1–3 October) and another in Kobe (5–6 October), then works west to Korea and ends in Incheon on 16 October. Its 2027 spring calls include Hiroshima until 22:00 twice and Busan until 22:00 twice.
Three things Azamara Pursuit & Quest passengers should know
Tokyo (1–3 October 2026) and Kobe (5–6 October) are the only multi-day stays in the schedule. In Kobe the ship arrives at 13:00, so keep Kyoto for the second day.
With 14 hours alongside, you can do the Peace Memorial in the morning, Miyajima in the afternoon and still be back for the 22:00 sailing.
The 26 October 2026 call at Naha (from Shanghai) and the 7 March 2027 call at Miyakojima (from Taipei) are the first Japanese ports of those voyages. Every foreign passenger clears a face-to-face immigration inspection, with fingerprints, at the first Japanese port of the cruise. It happens once, not at every port. Allow for it before you book a tour.
Pursuit carries most of the calls. Quest appears only in April 2027 (Ishigaki 5 April, Naha 6 April, Yeosu 18 April).
Questions Azamara Pursuit & Quest passengers ask
Where does Azamara call in Japan in 2026–27?
Azamara Pursuit’s October 2026 voyage calls Tokyo (overnight), Shimizu, Kobe (overnight), Kochi, Hiroshima, Beppu, Kagoshima, Nagasaki and Hakata before Yeosu and Incheon; it then returns through Naha and Ishigaki in late October. In March 2027 Pursuit calls Miyakojima, Naha, Kochi, Hiroshima, Busan and Niigata, and Hiroshima and Busan again at the end of the month. Azamara Quest calls Ishigaki and Naha on 5–6 April 2027.
Does Azamara overnight in Japanese ports?
Yes, on the October 2026 voyage: Tokyo from 1 to 3 October and Kobe from 5 to 6 October. The other calls are single days, several of them running late — Hiroshima and Busan until 22:00.
