Why Navy harbor cruise is famous

Maizuru has been a naval base since 1901 and is still one of Japan's main ones. The harbour cruise runs past moored destroyers close enough to read their numbers, which is unusual access anywhere in the world. It runs on weekends and holidays, and the fleet decides what you see.
