A convenience store chain that grills chicken to order at the counter and lays it over rice in a foam tray. It is called yakitori bento but the meat is pork, a Hakodate quirk nobody has bothered to correct. Hasegawa has done it since 1978 and locals eat it far more often than they eat sushi.
