A small group (up to seven, one group price) who want a guide to handle trams, buses and timing for a first visit.
Almost nothing is included beyond the guide. You pay the ropeway (¥1,800), Goryokaku Tower (¥1,200; the listing still says ¥1,000) and the magistrate's office (¥500) for yourself, about ¥1,400 per person in bus and tram fares for you and the guide, and lunch. Only four reviews so far, and every stop is reachable alone by tram with our free plan. The ropeway is closed for inspection from 20 October to 8 November 2026.
Guide languages: English, Japanese. Cancellation: For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. Run by Tomio Yokouchi.

Our guide to it →~3.5h with towerA pentagram fortress built for cannon that history aimed elsewhere — climb the tower to see the star, walk the moat under 1,600 cherry trees.

The operator's policy: For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. The operator may cancel for bad weather, with a refund.
