Black-broth skewers in a lantern-lit alley, and green tea from the hills you can see. The counters open only from late afternoon (about 16:30 at the shops we found, closing days vary), so this is for a call that runs into the evening.

- Needs an evening ashore (from 16:30) (the oden counters open from about 16:30): the call length alone does not decide it.

Why Shizuoka oden & green tea is famous
Shizuoka oden is its own regional form: dark broth from beef tendon, every skewer served with a dusting of dried fish and seaweed powder. Aoba Oden Street is a row of tiny counters that took in some of the post-war street stalls when they were cleared. Shizuoka has Japan's largest tea acreage and the highest tea output by value (Kagoshima now picks more by weight), and the two are eaten together.
