Why Nusamai Bridge at sunset is famous

Nusamai is one of Japan's three great bridges for a specific reason: it faces west down the river mouth, so in summer the sun sets straight along it. Four bronze figures representing the seasons have stood on it since 1977. It is five minutes from the berth.
