The story

Why Snow salt & awamori is famous

Yukishio is made by evaporating seawater drawn from the coral shelf, producing a powder-fine salt that once held a Guinness record for mineral content. The factory museum explains the process and then lets you taste the same salt flavoured a dozen ways. Awamori, distilled Okinawan rice spirit, is the other bottle to carry.
