    First ferry to Naoshima

    From the Shikoku Kisen counter by the JR station, about 10 minutes on foot. Take the 8:10, which lands at 9:05. ¥680, no reservations

    Chichu Art Museum

    Sunk into the hillside by Tadao Ando. Timed ticket online before you sail, ¥2,500 weekdays; no door sales if the slots sell out. Town bus ¥100, then the free museum shuttle

    Honmura and the Art House Project

    Old houses converted one at a time. The dentist’s is the strange one

    Ferry back

    The 14:20 from Miyanoura, at Takamatsu 15:20. The 17:00 lands at 18:00, so it is a reserve only on a 19:00 departure
