  3. ③ Cable car Jasan Park ⇄ Dolsan Park, 13 min each way. From the Jasan station, Odongdo’s lighthouse is 1.7 km, about 22 min on foot

Yeosu taxis: ₩4,300 for the first 2 km, then ₩100 per 130 m (tariff of November 2023; no later rise found). Foreign-card acceptance in taxis is not confirmed; carry won. The cable car does not go to Odongdo. A senior fare is not published. It stops in strong wind (secondary; the threshold is not published).

The island paths are hilly with steps (secondary). Free cruise shuttles reached Odongdo on 2026 Chinese-market ship days; whether they run for your ship is not confirmed. Card acceptance at the train kiosk is not confirmed.

How to get there

  3. ③ From the car park the hermitage is about 15 min up steep steps, or by a gentler path

The city’s Nangman tour bus Course 1 (Expo Station 10:30, Hyangiram 14:35–15:50, back 17:20; ₩10,000, ₩5,000 at 65+) returns after a 17:00 sailing, so on Holland America’s 08:00–17:00 calls Hyangiram means a taxi. It works for Azamara’s 20:00 and 22:00 departures; walk-up tickets are cash, and it does not run on the second Monday of the month. City buses 111, 111-1 and 116 reach the Impo stop below the hermitage but take an hour or more (secondary); not a port-day option. Holland America rates its own Hyangiram tour strenuous.

How to get there
  1. ① Taxi or pre-booked car from the terminal to the wetland: 39.7 km, 41 min without traffic, about 51 min in practice — our estimates
  2. ② Wetland → National Garden 7.2 km, about 12 min by road; the Skycube between them does not run on Mondays
  3. ③ National Garden → terminal 36.3 km, about 46 min

Allow 4.5–5 hours door to door for the wetland alone, 6 hours with the garden; on an 08:00–17:00 call that is the whole day. Holland America sells it as a 4.5-hour tour with about 8 km of walking. A day-hire price for a car was not found. A senior concession is not listed on the official page.

How to get there
  1. ① On foot from the terminal: about 1 km, 10–15 min (the official data sheet says about 9 min)
  2. ② KTX to Seoul (Yongsan) takes about 2 h 50 min–3 h: not a port-day trip
  3. ③ City buses: 6 and 7 to Manseongri beach (secondary); 111, 111-1 and 116 towards Hyangiram, an hour or more

Cash is still taken on Yeosu buses, unlike Jeju. Whether tapped foreign cards or T-money work here is not confirmed, so plan on small notes. The station is the end of the Jeolla line; the city tour buses leave from outside it at 10:30.
