Fits a 9.5-hour stop with nothing to add (off the ship 30 minutes after arrival, back at the gangway an hour before all-aboard). A longer call gives you the extra time; on this one, do not add a stop.

All day in taxis. The guided full loop: from US$454 per group of up to 8, plus a chartered taxi of about ¥40,000 (up to 3) or ¥52,000 (up to 8); all sales final — worth it only if you want zero navigation.

    From here the City View bus goes the long way round via Kagoshima-Chuo, about 40 min; its last loop leaves Chuo at 17:30
