Why Ramen adventure: factory to bowl is famous
Yokohama has a claim on being where ramen entered Japan, because its Chinatown sold Chinese noodle soup from the Meiji period, and a museum built as a reconstructed 1958 streetscape with regional shops inside it. Following the dish from the factory floor to the bowl is a straightforwardly nerdy day, and the city supports it.
